'Penempatan guru dibeku tidak benar'

"SAYA tidak maksudkan penempatan graduan pendidikan universiti awam akan dibekukan, cuma mungkin berlaku kelewatan berikutan keadaan ekonomi negara kini yang tidak menentu.

“Berapa lama kelewatan itu, kita tidak pasti,” kata Timbalan Naib Canselor Akademik dan Antarabangsa, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Prof Zakaria Kasa.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika mengulas mengenai emel yang mendakwa beliau membuat kenyataan bahawa graduan pendidikan institusi pengajian tinggi awam (IPTA) termasuk UPSI akan dibekukan, mulai tahun depan.

Emel dikirimkan seorang pelajar UPSI ke Unit Pendidikan Berita Harian itu menimbulkan kebimbangan mahasiswa universiti terbabit berikutan tersebarnya kenyataan itu menerusi sistem pesanan ringkas (SMS).


Sambil menegaskan kenyataannya pada majlis perasmian Simposium Hala Tuju Pendidikan Fizik di Malaysia di UPSI baru-baru ini, beliau berkata, sebenarnya ia disalah tafsir.

“Ia sebenarnya peringatan awal kepada mahasiswa supaya lebih bersedia dengan sebarang kemungkinan berlaku pada masa depan.

“Kita tidak tahu kesan ketidaktentuan ekonomi ketika ini, kerajaan mungkin lebih berhemah dalam berbelanja dan ia secara tidak langsung boleh menyebabkan kelewatan dalam pelbagai perkara, termasuk penempatan guru,” katanya.

UPSI mengeluarkan jumlah graduan pendidikan tertinggi di kalangan IPTA iaitu kira-kira 3,500 setahun.

Sambil berharap agar mahasiswa membetulkan semula pemahaman mereka terhadap kenyataannya sebelum ini, Zakaria menjelaskan setakat ini tiada pekeliling atau arahan mana-mana pihak khususnya kementerian berkaitan perkara itu.

Sehubungan itu, katanya, mahasiswa program pendidikan UPSI mahupun IPTA lain tidak perlu panik atau terpengaruh dengan kenyataan disalah faham itu dan perlu bersikap lebih rasional.

Dozens dead in Indonesian quake

At least 75 people are dead and thousands are trapped under rubble after a strong earthquake shook western Indonesia, officials say.

Buildings, including at least two hospitals, were brought down by the 7.6 magnitude quake, centred about 50km (30 miles) off the coast of Sumatra.

Officials say the death toll is expected to rise.

It comes hours after a tsunami from a separate quake killed more than 100 people in the South Pacific.

A tsunami watch issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in the wake of the Indonesian quake has been lifted

Some parts of peninsular Malaysia felt the tremors cause by the Indonesian quake.Its a series of tremors starting from morning at about 10,in the evening at about 6-6.30, several tremors reported.

Hey..i'm back

Finally, i'm free from my job as student for about 3 months. Now, lets rock and roll. Few jobs need to be done, reconstruction of The Minstrel and managing Rockhestra Clothing.

The first show..damn great show..
The show supposed to start at 2pm, but delayed till 3.
We arrived early and have to wait for about an hour..but, no prob..we enjoy the moment.haha..
Yeah..the first time, we perform our own songs.. 3 songs all together, Right into my eyes( u can hear it on our myspace), Princess of evil and To U i lie.

So far, we are quite happy with our performance.. yeah..minstrel on stage baby..
and a million of thanks to our supporters!.. The Pic Poket, our friends in Taman Midah, dell and hafiz...and all the bands who supports us! u guys rock!!

We will perform again..hehe...

The band was formed in year 2004. ANJ as the vox, PAYNE as guitarist, G as bassist and BOB as the drummer. We are 4 college students who shares the passions on music. We are still in the process of recording our first single, "Right into my eyes". The raw recording is for the preview purpose..enjoy.

Les Paul..the axe of my dream
Here in my hands,
Flashing the vantage finishing with powerful rock n roll sound.
Although the Les Paul 100 may not suited my sound, but its a legend!!
The cheapest version of Les Paul i guess, excluding Junior model.
Maybe Seymour Duncan will be team up with my axe to produce a tough and evil sound.

A debut post for 8 month

More than half a year no updates from this blog, maybe this blog can be described as dead?haha..no way..f**k u b7tchs who thought bout that. OMG, i wrote Parental Advisory Explicit Content words in this blog... No worries parents, they being censored by censored board.haha. 8 month of day and night, lots of changes in this world and to b specifically in my life.. lots of mixed-f***ed up feeling and happiness. BTW forgot all the wishes... Selamat Hr Raya, Happy Deepavali, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Gong XI Fa Chai and Selamat Hr Wilayah.. (today) haha..

How bout my fast growing Rockhestra? haha..hapy rockheniversary this april.. hey.. Hope my biz growing big and biggest...More and more peeps wears rockhestra..thanks to all.

Life? like before..lots up and down unexpected event..but at the end..im happy as before.hahaha..
